“Super comprehensive!” – Jean Mike, Administrator

Assess the strengths and weaknesses of your students’ social skills performance in various work settings.

In just 45 minutes, you can learn essential information about your students using the verbal role-playing and multiple-choice responses found in this job-related assessment instrument. Test results will allow you to accurately assess the strengths and weaknesses of a student’s social skills performance in various work settings so you can establish an appropriate curriculum and a targeted transition program for each student.

This assessment was developed for a target population of both males and females, aged 15 to 25 years and is designed to assess the job-related social skill performance of adolescents and young adults with emotional or behavioral disorders. This tool is also appropriate for adolescents with behavior disorders who have secondary disabilities such as learning or mild cognitive disabilities and mild speech and language disorders.

The SSP is designed to be administered individually to students using a verbal role playing method.

The program comes with a teaching guide and script, testing material, a reproducible response form and a response interpretation/scoring guide.
