Special Education Curriculum

At the James Stanfield Publishing Company, our founder is the only one in the field with a doctorate in Special Education. Further, he has extensive classroom experience with special needs children and adults. Our educational programming designed for special needs individuals is created with their learning capabilities in mind. You'll find our tapes are loaded with easy-to-understand information that delivers lifelong skills to your students that make a difference in their social interaction.

All the Stanfield video library materials feature clear and understandable video models. Students watch and learn the right and wrong way to handle a number of common situations. Further, our special needs editions feature appropriate pacing, as well as repetition of key points, which helps cement these core skills in their minds.

In addition to our Lifestyles curriculum, which teaches elemental social skills, positive and proven advice on finding and keeping a job, and appropriate environments for displaying affection, we also feature a special BeCool program for special needs individuals. This four-part series, entitled "BeCool" High School--Special Needs Coping with Difficult People, helps special needs individuals handle teasing, anger, criticism and bullying. All modules in this edition feature the videotapes, as well as teacher/parent tapes and instructor guides.

You can't always be there to protect the special needs student or child in your life. These tapes give them the skills to protect themselves and subsequently build self-control and embolden their self-esteem.
