"Manners for persons with developmental disabilities are not routinely acquired;they have to be explicitly taught. Mind your manners is an excellent step in that direction!" - Steven Reiss, PhD

Teach basic people skills necessary for acceptance.

Mind Your Manners illustrates classic right vs. wrong ways to interact with others.

Encourage social success and acceptance through proper social behavior with the everyday situations portrayed in the Mind Your Manners program. Mind Your Manners is part of the three-part Living With Other Library.

In addition to learning the specific rules of the road for interacting appropriately with others, your students will also see that the essence of good manners is based on thoughtfulness toward others. This concept is applied to occasions such as manners at school, in public, during greetings, at the table, when sharing a room and when conversing with others. The video program also illustrates classic right and wrong ways to interact with others that are humorous yet informative. You’ll give your students a basic foundation in acceptable manners that they will use daily.
