The Abuse Interview provides an objective standard not influenced by preconceptions of a person’s credibility and competency. The protocol is intended for anyone working in the field of abuse and is meant to allow those unfamiliar with disabilities to conduct an appropriate interview. The program is useful for educators in developing meaningful abuse prevention IEP’s and for counselors during the therapeutic process.
