Basic Smart Shopping Strategies
MoneySmart-1 focuses on careful budgeting, smart shopping and wise spending. Students learn the basics of stretching a dollar and using $ sense. Comparison shopping, looking for discounts, and wise use of credit cards are emphasized.

Part 1: How to Avoid Compulsive Shopping:
Teaches the pitfalls of compulsive shopping and why savvy shoppers: comparison shop; wait for items to go on sale; verify return-ability.  40 mins

Part 2: How to Avoid Being a Spendthrift:

MoneySmart-2 teaches students how to keep their hard-earned dollars by avoiding the most common budget busters. They’ll also learn how to steer clear of scams and con artists, as well as how to plan ahead and allow for financial emergencies.
