One of the hardest things for young people is the successful transition from high school to "real life." The James Stanfield Publishing Company, creator of multiple video education programs, offers teachers, counselors and parents a number of useful, results-oriented programming designed to make this transition easier for students. We cover all the basics and give students the tools they need to get a job, secure an apartment, and better navigate the tricky waters of personal and professional relationships.

Stanfield's "First Job Survival Skills" video library gives students the tools they need to succeed in the job market. We interviewed 2,500 employers to find out what they're looking for in an employee. As a result, we determined what we call "The Big 11"--the 11 "must-have" attributes for getting a job, keeping a job, and moving up in an organization.

The First Job Survival Skills library contains three modules, containing a total of 17 videos. Program 1 covers what's required to survive the first 90 days. Program 2 is entitled "Character, Attitude & Moving Up." The third installment, "Surviving Delusions of Grandeur," helps students prepare for the shock of a world which doesn't revolve around them or their needs, wants and expectations.

Our First Job Survival Skills programming has been called the most innovative approach in the industry for preparing students for the difficult transition from school to the job market. Help your students learn what's expected of them in the workplace. For more information, call and speak to a Stanfield representative at 1-800-421-6534, or write to us at maindesk@stanfield.com.
