Stanfield VideoModeling^® / Circles Curriculum

The Circles VideoModeling® Curriculum teaches relationship boundaries and relationship-specific behaviors, using a simple multi-layer circle diagram to demonstrate the different relationship levels students will encounter in daily life.

The Circles Curriculum is composed of four different programs:

Circles: Intimacy & Relationships, Level 1

Teaches relationship boundaries and relationship-specific behaviors. For example, it’s okay to hug your mother, but it’s not okay to hug the mail carrier.

Circles: Intimacy & Relationships, Level 2

Many teachers currently using Circles Level 1 have requested a “second step” follow-up program that would illustrate the application of the Circles’ Rules of Social Intimacy in more complex social settings. This is it.

Circles: Stop Abuse

Teach your students how to recognize and avoid threatening or abusive situations.. Illustrates step-by-step lessons & strategies to recognize abusive behaviors. Includes real-life demonstrations of how to take positive action if feeling exploited. Created by education and health-care professionals sensitive to the needs of persons with developmental disabilities.

Circles: Safer Ways

Provide your students with current information on avoiding an treating communicable disease and in the process teach them ways to protect themselves against diseases, including HIV/AIDS
